So What Have You Been Up To? The Introduction of Duo Semente

Hey All! So it’s literally been more than a year that I’ve posted something to this site. But I have something awesome and exciting to share with everyone!

Yeah I graduated with my Masters Degree last Spring but we can talk about that later!

While at Hartt, I met some excellent people. One of them stood out of the crowd. Ásbörg Jónsdóttir and I met in the Fall of 2017 while she attended Hartt for a semester as an exchange student from Iceland. At the end of her time, we were finally able to perform together as a part of a goodbye party she organized. We were so sad to part after that but knew that we must continue what we created in that moment. After some planning and continuous meeting via Facetime we have been able to come up with a few tunes and, finally, a band name. So meet my newest project, Duo Semente. We’re very excited to get started making music together and though we are separated by the Atlantic Ocean we will not let that stop us from creating together. Keep your eyes peeled for what we do next. We’re looking to release some music in the near future as well as being in the same physical space for some performance. Keep an ear out! Who knows what this adventure will hold?
