Something to share with y'all

So being someone who needs goals, I challenged myself to make this the year that I release something to the streaming world. This was in the hopes that I would write some new music and push myself into a productive frenzy….

Needless to say, this did not happen.

I mean, I’ve been busy working hard, but I wasn’t able to reach my goal the way I wanted to. However, recently, I realized that I have a catalog of music that I have not been proactive in sharing. I came to a piece titled Three Pieces for Three Specific Life Events that I wrote for my friend, choreographer Calvin Bittner for a work he was creating for Ballet Hartford in 2018. It’s a work I’m very proud of and I realized there’s no reason this shouldn’t be out for everyone to hear.

So I’m happy to announce that Three Pieces for Three Specific Life Events is now available on Apple Music, Spotify, iTunes, and a variety of other music services. I beg of you, go and give it a listen (even buy it if you feel so bold).

As someone who doesn’t always feel confident or deserving to share my music in this way, I have to remember to take risks in hopes that it doesn’t feel so difficult the next time around.

Thank you to Calvin Bittner for asking me to write this work, and thank you to my wonderful friends and tenacious four-person orchestra: Julie Haring, Jake Pietroniro, Ariel Nathanson, and Noah Marconi for helping me make this project come to life. This project would never have made it through without your kindness and talents.

And a thank you to all who will listen and continue to follow my strange journey.
